ABOUT EACH COMIC:
HEADLINER: TOMMY “TEE RAY” BERGERON
Closing out this show is Tommy “Tee Ray” Bergeron who came all the way from New Orleans for this gig! Despite being voted “Wittiest” in high school, “Tee Ray” took the scenic route to get into joke telling. First he did college, then grad school, then marriage then fatherhood all before he grabbed his first microphone at age 30. But, as with all sharp comedians, his timing was perfect! He jumped into the comedy scene in the Big Easy and soon he was ripping it up at any bar, saloon, restaurant and daiquiri shop from Louisiana to Mississippi! His observational jokes sprinkled with some self deprecating humor coupled with some southern swagger, gave “Tee Ray” an edge over many road comics. Quickly into his career he became a regular in Texas at the renowned Houston Laugh Stop Comedy Club. Now after 25 years in the joke game, “Tee Ray” has been noticed by some of the best comics in the game —Theo Von tapped “Tee Ray” as his warm up comic
FEATURE ACT: TYRELL SHACKLEFORD
Your feature act for the night is the energetic and animated Tyrell Shackleford. Since grabbing his first microphone ten years ago, Tyrell has been one busy dude on the comedy circuit. He has worked hundreds of gigs up and down the east coast and he has too much momentum to stop. His stories will keep you on the edge of your seat as his wit and punchlines will hit their mark. Within a quick minute you will see how naturally he can get to the funny!
SPECIAL GUEST: LORI SHARMA
Your special guest for the night is an improv performer turned stand -up comic. Lori Sharma has a stand-up style that is a blend of observational and anecdotal humor with a knack for accents and act outs! She got the stand-up comedy bug after taking “Stand Up Comedy 101” taught by Hatton Jordan at the Push Comedy Theater. Her hard work has paid off — she recently won the “Push Comedy Theater’s Female Breakout Performer of 2024 Award.”
SPECIAL GUEST: TEVIN PERRY
With four years of stand up experience under his belt, Tevin Perry is a funny cat with a laid back smart delivery. He has performed at the Sandman Comedy Club in Richmond, the Push Comedy Theater in Norfolk, The Last Word Comedy Festival in Williamsburg and he is a winner of the “Clash of the Comics” contest at the Va Beach Funny Bone. Come support this calm, witty, silly and chill comic!
HOST: ANTHONY NOBLES
Your host for the night is a 6′ 4″ human giraffe. He eats apples straight off the tree. He wears glasses and listens to a lot of NPR. His jokes are a heavy dose of current events mixed in with his comic take on being a middle aged father while navigating the lucrative and stress-free career of being a Middle School teacher in the 757. When he is not helping other people reach things on the top shelf, you can see him regularly at the Push Comedy Theater where he performs sketch, improv and stand up comedy.
