Virginia Beach, VA – Earlier today, the Governor of Virginia, Terry McAuliffe, announced ADP will be investing into Norfolk, VA, a neighboring city of the coastal community. ADP is a Fortune 300 corporation and specializes in many different business related services such as payroll, HR management, benefits administration, time and attendance, retirement plans, insurance plans, and much more. They employ over 55,000 people and in 2015, revenues topped 10 billion dollars. They have chosen to open a regional customer support center in the downtown area of Norfolk.
Bringing ADP to Hampton Roads is a major accomplishment for city and state government and is very beneficial to all of the surrounding areas and citizens. The move will create 1,800 high-paying jobs and greatly stimulate the entire local economy. This includes demand for housing, food services, entertainment, and many other living necessities.
This large investment by ADP further diversifies local employment options and will attract talent from other nearby cities and states. If you’ve been looking for a career change that can bring you closer to the oceanfront, now may be the time!
We’d like to welcome and thank ADP for joining our community and express our gratitude to all those involved at the city and state level to enable this incredible opportunity that benefits everyone here in Virginia.
