If you like to go scuba diving, want to learn how to scuba dive and become certified, check out the Lynhaven Dive Center during your long stay in Virginia Beach.

I have been to a couple of places that scuba diving was available, but never really had the experience or know how to actually try, and while it is not that difficult, I did not want to put myself in a bad position by going in without knowing anything. I looked around and found out information on where to go, and one of the places suggested was this dive center.

Located at 1413 N Great Neck Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23454, the Dive Center offers courses and provides equipment for rent and for sale. If you are not sure how it would work out, you can schedule a free introductory lesson on either Saturday or Sunday at 1PM. My wife and I had checked out the introduction lesson, but we are still deciding on whether to take the full course.

They offer three types of learning courses; regular, accelerated, and private. For individuals who are already certified, and would like to know more, they have more technical courses, like Advanced Nitrox and Cavern diving courses. They also have a scuba camp for kids.

The facilities are what you would expect from a well laid out dive center, and you will quickly learn that diving lessons are not the only thing they offer, trip and event planning are amongst the other things, with plenty more diving related activities.

The best thing you can take away from a trip to the Dive Center is the chance to experience aquatic life firsthand.
