Historic Garden Week

This tour celebrates the Resort City’s enviable quality of life. All of the featured houses are just a short bike ride to the beach and a slightly longer one south to the Boardwalk or north to First Landing State Park. The featured neighborhoods retain their friendly small-town feel, a holdover from the days when Virginia Beach was a sleepy little resort that shut down after Labor Day. Wave heights and wind speeds, the moon, and the tides still spark conversation because water is everywhere in eastern Virginia Beach, providing memorable scenery and great recreation.
