4. Outdoor Dining at the Beach
Covid-19 has really put a damper on many things, but enjoying a restaurant is not one of them!
Luckily restaurants in Virginia Beach have adapted and now offer outdoor dining as well as indoor dining. But for those who would love to enjoy more open air while the virus scare runs rampant, this is the perfect solution.
Almost every restaurant has implemented a way to get a fresh breeze, so go ahead and make your reservations!
5. Prime Dolphin Watching
Since August is one of the last of the hottest months of the summer, the water is at its warmest. It seems to have been bringing tons of dolphins to the oceanfront. When at the beach this month, take time to scope out the natural beauty at the beach! You can either do this right from your towel on the sand or take a look at the Virginia Beach pier. You are sure to spot a pod or two!
6. Live Music Daily and Nightly
Daily Concerts at the Virginia Beach Boardwalk is what you will find all this month! Just walk from street to street on the Boardwalk, and you will find another concert. On weekdays the concerts start at 6 in the evening. Saturdays and Sundays will have concerts just about all day long. You will always be able to find a live musical performance at the Boardwalk.
