Located directly across the street from First Landing State Park is First Landing Campground, a great place to vacation if you’re coming to Virginia Beach.
The campground has over 1 1/2 miles of Chesapeake Bay beachfront and is nestled directly behind the beautiful sand dunes. Furthermore, the beautiful State Park is walking distance from your tent, RV, or cabin. Unlike many campgrounds, First Landing provides lush barriers between most campsites so you will not feel like you are camping in a big parking lot. There are over 200 sites ($24-$30 a night). All campsites come with a picnic table and fire-ring grill; several sites can accommodate RVs if requested. Also, 20 cabins are available at First Landing ranging from $71-$132 per night. The cabins have AC and heat, a fireplace, a deck, a screened porch, an outside grill, two bedrooms, dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen. Campsites are available with water and electric and the park allows pets for a small extra fee. First Landing is often times very busy so it is important that you call ahead and reserve a spot. Between the Chesapeake Bay, and the hiking and biking of the state park, there is plenty to keep the whole family occupied at First Landing Campground in Virginia Beach, VA.
