Bloody brides, creepy clowns, and spooky skeletons are all Halloween favorites for some people. Luckily, there are so many things to do in Virginia Beach where everyone can have a great Halloween!
Not everyone like all things scary, so we’ve made a list of all the Family Friendly Halloween events in VA Beach.
Children’s Halloween Party
First up is the Children’s Halloween Party at Hunt Club Farm. This is a favorite among many families because of all the things to do at one party. There is a petting farm, pumpkin decorating, cupcake decorating, a bounce house, and more. You will even get to bring home a small pie pumpkin to either carve or to roast. Dress up in costumes for this event, or you’ll be the odd one out! This event is ticketed, and you will need to have a pre-paid reservation because this party is so popular. The ticket prices are $15 per child and $9 per adult.
In case of rain, the date of the Children’s Halloween Party will be moved to October 28, 2018.
Monster Mile Run
Anthem Wicked 10K isn’t for children, but the Old Point National Bank Monster Mile is! This event, located at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront, will be the most fun mile your child will ever run. “Run for your lives!” is the theme of the mile. The beautiful scenery of the oceanfront is just enough reason to participate in this race. It will be even more fun because everyone will be able to run in costume. This race will take place in the morning on Saturday, October 27th, 2018.
Halloween Spooktacular Musical
The Virginia Symphony Orchestra presents their annual Halloween Spooktacular Musical perfect for all members of the family! You’re going to want to bring everyone for this concert. On Saturday, October 27th, show up in full costume and listen to the spookiest tunes! This concert is said to be more treat than trick, so it’ll be loads of fun. Tickets to this concert at the Sandler Center for Performing Arts start at $18. This event begins at 2:00 PM with some pre-concert fun activities. The music begins at 3:00 PM and lasts two hours long.
