As the weather gets warmer, summer vacations get closer, and we begin to emerge back out into the world after a cold and rainy winter season, Virginia locals and visitors alike will be on the hunt for… stuff to do!

Enter: Virginia Beach Town Center. Located at the intersection of Virginia Beach Boulevard and Independence Boulevard. I don’t know if you’ll need more than one reason to go check it out but just in case, here’s 5!

1. Location, location, location.

So I already told you where to find Town Center, but do you know what else you can find close by? Hop on 64 East and it’s a quick twenty minute drive to The Ocean Front. Right across Virginia Beach Blvd, you’ll see (and can walk to) Pembroke Mall. With easy access to hotels, restaurants, and grocery stores, you might even consider straying away from the summer beach crowds for a little while. Plenty of on and off-street (free) parking makes it easy to check out all the fun and convenient options Town Center has to offer.

2. Seriously – So. Many. Restaurants.

(In the pciture above: Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Bravo Cucina, and Funny Comedy Club and Restaurant.)

If you’re like me, you like to eat! (and enjoy a nice cocktail or beer once in a while?). At Town Center, there is a restaurant on every corner, and some in between. Choices for every budget and schedule; from carry out and fast casual, to sit down and stay a little while – no matter what you’re in the mood for, odds are you’ll find something just right. Stop by Daily Grind for a quick coffee. Meet friends at Tupelo Honey Cafe for some breakfast or a leisurely brunch. Maybe your sweet tooth just needs a quick fix? Check out Just Cupcakes for some freshly baked treats, or swing by Cold Stone Creamery for a little something cold on a hot day! The dinner choices are just about endless, California Pizza Kitchen, P.F. Chang’s, Yard House, Cucina Italiana, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Bravo – I could go on, but you probably get the jist, and I’m getting hungry…

3. Shops on Shops on Shops…

You might remember earlier when I mentioned summer. Warmer weather? Ring any bells? So obviously you’re going to need to stock your summer wardrobe. Lucky for you, there are as many shops as there are restaurants (see above). Lululemon is there to help you get your workout on, Anthropology will keep you looking stylish and comfortable! Francesca’s is filled with unique boutique pieces… and for the momma’s out there, Destination Maternity. Not to mention the entire mall full of stores across the street.

4. Entertainment for days!

Weather you’re out on a date or just looking to get out of the house and spend time with friends – you really can’t go wrong. Grab drinks at the Funny Bone Comedy Club. Check out Muse Paintbar. There’s also Sandler Center for the Performing Arts or if there’s a movie you’ve been wanting to see, Regal Columbus Stadium 12! Need I go on?

5. Reason number 5… do you really need another?! I don’t think so. Go see for yourself!
