Staying in Virginia Beach and looking for a place to party like you’re on vacation? Peabody’s Night Club, within walking distance of most oceanfront hotels, is what you’ve been waiting for!

Peabody’s, a high energy club serving Hampton Roads since 1967, is known for its packed dance floor, crazy atmosphere, and talented DJs and bartenders. HAMMER TIME, Peabody’s version of happy hour, is from 7:00-9:00 PM, with $1.50 drinks, shots, and beers and free cover for everyone 21 and up. There is also plenty of food with tacos, pizza, shrimp, crab legs, wings and a nacho bar.

Admittance is 18+ for woman and 21+ for men, meaning Peabody’s clientele is younger than many clubs. While the energy in some clubs begins to die as the night goes on, Peabody’s stays fresh until closing time, the DJ keeping the huge dance floor pumping with a variety of top 40 music, including hip hop, dance, rock, techno, and even a little country.

Peabody’s offers a variety of ongoing promotions. Ladies Night is every Thursday with ladies getting in free. Fridays is college night, anyone with a college ID getting in free. Friday also plays host to a weekly dodgeball tournament. Saturday nights is the Bash at the Beach, touted as the largest dance party in Virginia and featuring the area’s hottest local bands.

The club can accommodate parties from 5-700. Peabody’s specializes in bachelorette parties, but it can accommodate almost any type of party you can imagine.

Security is tight, making the club feel very safe. However, the dress code is strict, so be sure to not to wear t-shirts, flip-flops, cut-offs, do-rags or backwards hats. Dress to impress and you shouldn’t have a problem!

Peabody’s hours are Thursday-Saturday 7:00PM-2:00AM. Peabody’s is a non-smoking establishment.
