This event is an annual favorite for locals and those from out of town alike. The 10k race doubles as the largest outdoor costume party in Virginia Beach as participants are encouraged to be creative and dress up for Halloween. In addition to awards that are handed out for the competitive portion of the race, there will be awards for the best costumes as well. This rain or shine event that had its inaugural in 2009 has a beautiful course that will take the participants along the Virginia Beach Oceanfront and features a flat route making it easy for any level of runner to complete. Everyone in the family is able to take part in The Old Point National Bank Monster Mile.

This highly popular Virginia Beach 10k is organized by J&A Racing and presented by Bon Secours In Motion. J&A Racing is a race management company that is based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. According to their website since being founded in 2003, J&A Racing?s mission has been to promote and support healthy lifestyles and the sport of running. They manage several runs through the Virginia Beach area while also offering personal coaching to runners of all ages.

Their clinics have programs directed by board-certified physicians and health professionals who will help patients heal and maintain health and wellness. With over 10,000 people expected to turn out at this year?s Anthem Wicked 10K, there is bound to be fun had by everyone in attendance. There is a Registration Fee Reimbursement Plan that is offered during registration. Without this plan, there will be no refund of any kind issued including cancellation of the event. Registration will not be accepted on race day.
