The Stars and Stripes Explosion event is held at the Virginia Beach oceanfront once a year on every July 4th. Live bands play to tens of thousands of locals and tourists annually as everyone celebrates Independence Day.

When and Where will the Stars and Stripes Explosion be held?

Stars and Stripes Explosion is held on the evening of the 4th of July from 6:30 pm – 11:00 pm!

This free oceanfront attraction will be located at the following areas:

  • On the beach at 24th Street
  • Dairy Queen Grill & Chill at 17th Street Park
  • 31st Street Park

Event Parking

Parking will be readily available at the following public garages;

  • 300 19th Street
  • 336 15th Street
  • 209 30th Street
