Virginia Beach has been named 7th Best East Coast Beach!
USA Today and 10Best brought Virginia Beach another round of challenges! Only a couple months ago, Virginia Beach won 5th Best Boardwalk according to USA Today and 10Best. This time Virginia Beach was dueling 20 different beaches along the East Coast of the USA. Virginia Beach is now named 7th Best East Coast Beach! This big competition had 20 nominees including South Beach, Clearwater Beach, Martha’s Vineyard Beaches, and Coopers Beach. Here were the top 10 beaches of the east coast!
1. Gulf Islands National Seashore – Pensacola, Florida
2. Hunting Island State Park – Beaufort, South Carolina
3. Ocracoke Island Beach – Outer Banks, North Carolina
4. Folly Beach – Charleston, South Carolina
5. Myrtle Beach – Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
6. Cape Hatteras – Outer Banks, North Carolina
7. Virginia Beach – Virginia Beach, Virginia
8. The Cove – Cape May, New Jersey
9. Coligny Beach Park – Hilton Head, South Carolina
10. Bowman’s Beach – Sanibel, Florida
