DESCRIPTION:This Virginia Beach festival is cancelled due to COVID-19.\n*\n*\nNorfolk Harborfest is returning to Town Point Park this year on June 6th for the 44th time which makes it one of the biggest and longest running historic maritime events. This is a special fest because of the many and diverse attractions that it offers, making it fun for an entire family, young and old and everywhere in between. \nKids will love the “pirate school”, arcade, mermaid attraction, acrobats, and the street party which is a parade unit from the Bahamas. Adults will find entertainment as well with live music every night featuring famous artists including Grace Potter, Last Bison, Mountaintide, The Wailers, and many more. \nThe full lineup can be found on their website listed below. Before you slip into the night, you’ll want something to drink from the Kroger Virginia Wine and Craft Beer Garden. Since this is a maritime event, water activities such as the famous Parade of Sail will return as a huge fleet of giant ships sail through the harbor. There is also a build-a-boat contest where participants build a boat from scratch and race them.
